Network Office Clearinghouse

A Metro Atlanta Chamber member participant-facilitated program designed for C-level executives, company presidents and business owners of companies with $500,000 to $15 million in revenue and 2 or more employees. Membership to the CEO Action Group is available only to Metro Atlanta Chamber members. Participants must be willing to talk openly about their own business, give honest feedback to fellow members and contribute to the success of others. A strict confidentiality agreement among members enables candid discussions.

Some benefits of participating in a CEO Action Group:

• Learn to make better decisions
• Make progress on goals, priorities and action items monitored by the group
• Achieve personal and professional growth
• Experience a solution to isolation--it can get lonely at the top; this group provides opportunities to share similar experiences & perspectives

The Member Services Committee helps to provide chamber members with interactive programming that engages and re-engages existing and new members. This committee is also responsible for special projects as assigned by the small business growth council executive committee.

Responsible for discussing legislative and other issues that matter to members who represent companies with fewer than 100 employees. Responsible for serving as a sounding board for concerns as well as an information source for small and mid-size businesses to learn more about chamber initiatives and legislative positions.

Making a difference in the metro Atlanta Public School System. Our volunteers do many different things with the school and the students, most importantly working with students not proficient in reading and mathematics. This entails being a “Reading Buddy”, meaning spending one-on-one time with the student at the school for about 1 hour, whether it is weekly, bi-weekly or even once a month.

The Member Retention Committee is responsible for contacting new and renewing members to answer questions and encourage additional involvement in Chamber activities. We help businesses get more out of the Chamber, and help increase the Chamber’s membership retention rate.

The Welcome Team is responsible for contacting and reporting responses from businesses upon 3 months into their new Chamber membership to confirm they are enjoying and maximizing Chamber benefits.

Art of Cruising

Responsible for generating new business development opportunities for small business members by bringing small and large businesses together, facilitating business introductions at all member levels, and using the techniques of netweaving to create new business relationships between Chamber members. They provide a friendly face to members at Chamber events. Ambassadors are recommended by Account Executives, existing Ambassadors and SBGC members. They must be members in good standing of one year with a knowledge of the Chamber's goals and programs. Members will be responsible for inviting new members to attend events.

Responsible for facilitating networking events for Small to Mid-Size Business members of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Committee members serve in various capacities to help execute networking events including “Leads to Business” and the “Power Networking Luncheon".
