Survey results indicate strong support for sports betting and legal reform.
This week a survey issued by the Metro Atlanta Chamber and administered by the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs Survey Research Center was released.
“Sports betting and legal reform are perennial topics of discussion at the State Capitol. As the 2025 legislative session approaches, we wanted to understand where voters stand on these issues. The results reveal that Georgians significantly support sports betting, an activity that is already allowed in 38 other states, and they want the opportunity to vote on it,” said Marshall Guest, Senior Vice President of Public Policy at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “Additionally, polling clearly shows that Georgians think we need to better protect our business climate and the jobs it provides with reasonable litigation reform. We believe everyone should have access to the court system, but we must also protect responsible businesses.”
