Government Affairs Manager
Maggie Wigton is the Government Affairs Coordinator for the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC). She has worked in Georgia law and politics since 2020, working with city councils, county commissions, and school boards on local redistricting in Georgia’s non-partisan Joint Reapportionment Office for two years. At MAC, she facilitates connections between the team, key partners, and elected officials at the Georgia General Assembly while advancing the business and civic community’s priorities through state policy.
Outside of MAC, she serves as the philanthropy advisor for her sorority alumnae chapter and volunteers at ACFB and Habitat for Humanity. Maggie is a native of metro Atlanta and received her bachelor’s degrees in anthropology and geography from the University of Georgia in 2020. She and her dog reside in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood of Atlanta.
