Thomas Flake

Thomas Flake serves as the Program Director for the Georgia Intern App at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where he leads efforts to connect young talent with meaningful internship opportunities across metro Atlanta’s business community. With over a decade of experience in workforce development, nonprofit partnerships, and program management, he specializes in building relationships with employers and education partners to create impactful early career pathways.

Before joining MAC, Thomas led national workforce initiatives at Accenture, including the Skills to Succeed Academy and Covenant House International partnerships, supporting more than 50,000 learners through nonprofit, educational, and corporate collaborations. His background also includes user experience (UX) design, which informs his work in developing student-centered programming and technology solutions.

Originally from Indiana, Thomas holds a degree in Informatics with a focus on Human-Centered Computing and a minor in Business from Indiana University. Passionate about creating access to career opportunities for underserved populations, he is committed to advancing inclusive workforce development initiatives in the Atlanta region.
