Talent Coordinator, Georgia Intern App
Debbie Quijada is the Talent Coordinator at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), where she supports the Georgia Intern App team by connecting young talent to early career opportunities with MAC investor companies. Her work focuses on sourcing specific skills and traits among college students and alumni, with a special emphasis on rural campuses and HBCUs.
Prior to joining MAC, Debbie built a strong background in the biopharmaceutical sector, having worked for major industry players such as Zoetis and Pfizer. It was during her time in government at the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center that her passion for economic development first took root.
Originally born in Massachusetts and raised in Houston, Texas, Debbie is a first-generation Salvadoran-American and is new to the Atlanta area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies with minors in Business and Sociology from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
