Marketing Director
Heather Worthan is the Marketing Director supporting Economic Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), where she implements strategies and leads initiatives that support bringing jobs and investment to the region.
Before joining MAC, Heather worked in economic development marketing at Georgia Power for almost nine years and built a strong foundation and network in the space. Prior to that, Heather held marketing and communications roles at Goldbergs Foods, The Georgia Department of Emergency Management, and worked as a consultant for smaller local brands. She is also a professional photographer and videographer and incorporates her love of content creation to all her roles.
A Georgia native, Heather calls Stone Mountain home and stays busy with her three (mostly) impressive teenagers, Charlie, Mallory, and Piper. She is a music fanatic and loves playing(ish) the ukulele, cooking for friends, thrifting for treasures around the city, and escaping to swimming holes in the North Georgia mountains.
