Senior Director, Government Affairs, Public Policy
Nick Fernandez joined the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) as Government Affairs Coordinator in December 2018. As the Government Affairs Director of Public Policy, he manages MAC’s election funds at the state and local levels. He also works with team members to advance many policy areas and issues pertinent to MAC and its members.
Before joining MAC, Nick was Attorney General Chris Carr’s campaign manager for his 2018 re-election. He also worked as a policy advisor under Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black and State Senator Jeff Mullis.
Nick received his bachelor’s of political science from the University of Georgia. He lives in Tucker with his wife, Cara, and their playful dog, Nala.
