Senior Director, Cleantech Ecosystem Expansion
As Senior Director of Cleantech Ecosystem Expansion with the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), Cynthia Curry helps strengthen the smart city ecosystems across the 29-county metro Atlanta area. Cynthia serves as the co-chair of the MAC DEI team and supports the ATL Action for Racial Equity.
As a member of the Economic Development team, she fosters local company growth while attracting new jobs and investments to the region. By connecting Atlanta’s thought leaders in the smart-cities space, she helps drive collaboration between the business, government, civic, and educational ecosystems to create inclusive and resilient communities that leverage technology to solve the most pressing issues of our time.
The MAC Economic Development team supports companies looking to grow or relocate to the region by providing complimentary services including, but not limited to: custom market research, workforce assistance, relocation assistance and connections to capital sources, educational partners, communications exposure, customer introductions, community leaders, and much more.
Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and philosophy from Georgia State University and has called Atlanta home for over 30 years. She serves on the City of Atlanta CIO Advisory Board and the boards of TAG Social Justice and Equity, MARTA Business Advisory, TAG Smart Communities and Sustainability, Georgia Smart, and Georgia Tech’s Center for the Development and Application of Internet of Things Technologies (CDAIT).
Cynthia is a mom, wife, cyclist, hiker, music lover, and food fanatic.
