Robert Herrig serves as the Director of Supply Chain & Advanced Manufacturing at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC), where he leads the Ecosystem Expansion team’s initiatives to grow these critical industries. He also spearheaded the launch of RoboGeorgia, a non-profit focused on advancing Georgia’s robotics ecosystem.

Outside his work with MAC, Robert is deeply involved in professional and community organizations. He sits on the ATL Leaders Steering Committee, serves as a founding board member and vice chair of RoboGeorgia, and represents MAC on the Aerotropolis Atlanta Alliance Board. He is also an active member of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Emerging Technologies Roundtable, NAIOP Georgia, the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), the Paideia School Alumni Advisory Council, and the Olmstead Linear Parks Alliance.

An Atlanta native, Robert completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and his graduate studies at Georgia State University.
