Vice President, Talent Development
Tim Cairl serves as Senior Director of Talent Development at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC). In this role, Tim oversees MAC’s education and talent policies and programs, and serves as the primary contact for education and talent legislative efforts at the local, federal, and state levels.
Prior to joining MAC in 2014, Tim worked at The UPS Foundation in Atlanta while obtaining his graduate degree in public policy from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. A member and volunteer at numerous non-profit causes and agencies around the region, Tim is a strong advocate for high-quality early education and childcare, robust K–12 education, and an integrated workforce and skills-based talent pipeline that will continue to keep the Atlanta region growing strong in a challenging global economy.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys traveling, exploring Georgia’s fantastic state parks, gardening, and cooking. Tim and his longtime partner, Jack, live near Decatur in unincorporated DeKalb County.
